Sharon Jones-Gilmore
Veterinary Technician
Sharon was born and raised in New Brunswick. After completing a degree in anthropology at the University of New Brunswick, she became a registered massage therapist after completing training at the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage.
A lifelong animal lover, this naturally led to an animal massage therapy specialization from the Northwest School of Animal Massage. Sharon has been practicing animal massage, including Reiki and other healing modalities, for the past nine years.
Sharon is active in the animal welfare community as a volunteer and fundraiser and along with her husband regularly fosters pets from the SPCA. Sharon is a co-creator and director of the annual event SNAP! (Snapping Garters for Animal Welfare).

Kim Marson, RVT
Senior Veterinary Technician
Kim has over 17 years experience volunteering and working in animal shelters, boarding kennels, grooming salons both in Fredericton and in Edmonton. She completed the veterinary technician program at Miramichi Career College in 2003 and is a registered technician. Prior to joining us, she worked at Valley Veterinary Hospital, Main Street Veterinary and McGregor’s (Southpaw).
Kim is originally from Fredericton, but now lives in Rusagonis with her husband, Jeff, their 2 children Adisson and Wyatt as well as their dog, Boone.

Veterinary Technician
Leanna is from Cross Creek, New Brunswick. After completing high school in Stanley, she enrolled in the veterinary technician training at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro. After graduation, she worked at a 24-hour emergency hospital in Moncton and while there enjoyed critical patient care.
Leanna has a border collie pup named Tessie. Outside of work, enjoy spending time in the outdoors, music, going to the cottage and following sports.

Tiffany Purdy, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Tiffany grew up on a blueberry farm outside of Oxford, Nova Scotia. She graduated with a diploma in veterinary technology from the Nova Scotia Agricultral College and is a registered veterinary technician. Tiffany has worked in mixed animal practice and on a dairy farm, and is experienced with both companion and agricultural animals.
Tiffany has volunteered with Cats and Dogs International (CANDi) in Mexico in a large scale sterilization clinic. Tiffany enjoys teaching: she has taught at Eastern College in the Veterinary Administrative Specialist Program and has taught skiing and adaptive skiing at Wentworth.
She lives just outside Fredericton with her fiancé Mikael, and their two cats, Splash and Hope. She Enjoys running and hiking in the summer and skiing all winter.

Veterinary Technician
Kendra joined us after moving to Fredericton from Ontario. After growing up in Ottawa, she completed an advanced diploma in veterinary technology at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario. She’s been around animals her entire life, and has always loved caring for them and being the voice they don’t always have.
Kendra is interested in patient care, nutrition and behavior modification. When not at work, she loves cooking, being outdoors, taking photographs and decorating cakes. She and her boyfriend live with a Maine coon cross named Larry.

Eryn Staszkiewicz
Veterinary Assistant
Eryn joined us after working at Winrose Animal Hospital in her hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She worked in several animal shelters including D'Arcy's Arc Animal Shelter, Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, and the Winnipeg Humane Society
Eryn’s passion is helping animals and believes that there is nothing more rewarding than helping sick animals become well again.
She has a lot of experience raising orphaned kittens and she has eight cats of her own and three dogs. In her spare time, Eryn likes travel, hiking with her dogs and going to concerts.

Tamara Neadow
Veterinary Assistant
Tamara graduated from the veterinary administrative assistant program from Eastern College is 2011. She has worked for the Oromocto SPCA and on various farms throughout New Brunswick and as a stable hand and groom in Florida and New York. Tamara is a riding instructor and is a member of the New Brunswick Equestrian English Coaching Committee
She has a rotti/shepherd mix named Maverick. In her spare time, Tamara enjoys camping, hiking and fishing.

Kent Latchford
Hospital Attendant
Kent has bee working in veterinary hospitals for over a decade and looks after the hospital’s maintenance, making sure our building is as clean and inviting as the day we opened.
Kent attended the technician program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston and he also studied at St. Thomas.
In his spare time, Kent enjoys sports, music, motorcycles and spending time with his dog Ciara and his cats Ben and Mia.

Client Relations Coordinator
Kate grew up in Keswick, in a home filled with cats and dogs. She graduated from Leo Hayes High School in 2005. After completing the Katimavik program and trying out a few career paths her passion for animals eventually led her to enter the veterinary field.
She has six years’ experience as a receptionist in a vet practice and also worked for two years in the farm and animal nutrition industry. She was our first hire, and has been with us the whole time as we’ve grown from 2 to 12 staff.
Kate is married, and has two cats, Billy and Nimue. In her spare time, she loves gardening and spending time at her family’s camp in Scotch Lake. Kate loves building great relationships with clients and their pets!

Shelley Wood
Client Relations Coordinator
Shelley joined us after a varied career in client service and management in the forestry and hotel industries, most recently with Delta Hotels. She loves working with people and animals, and she made the switch to veterinary medicine to combine her love of client service with her passion for pets.
She earned her bachelor of science in forestry at UNB with a minor in biology.
Shelley and her husband have one child and two cats, Alex and Gus. Shelley has also fostered for CAR-Ma (Cat Rescue Maritimes). In her spare time, she enjoys physical fitness, reading, singing, barbershop music and educating children.

Ryan Reid
Hospital Administrator
Ryan is FAH’s hospital administrator. He guides our strategic planning, and handles finances, marketing and human resources development.
Originally from Ontario, Ryan moved to Fredericton in 2006. He has been involved with at the hospital since the very beginning. He holds an MBA from UNB and history from Queen’s University. Before becoming involved with Fredericton Animal Hospital, he spent 15 years working in marketing in a variety of software and technology start-ups. Ryan sat on the board of directors for the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival for two seasons and currently sits on the board of the New Brunswick Public Library Service. He has also taught in the MBA program at the University of New Brunswick.

Cindy Baker, RVT
Practice Manager
Cindy is our practice manager and is a registered veterinary technician. For the past 19 years, Cindy has worked in veterinary clinics in British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Ontario. Cindy graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario.
Cindy divides her time between working with clients and patients and managing the staff, inventory, training, and ensuring we operate as efficiently and as well as possible to provide the best care we can.
The favorite part of Cindy’s job is nursing and patient care. Cindy believes that every pet has an individual personality and she loves meeting new patients and clients.
