ABOUT OUR CLINIC
FEE PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy at the Fredericton Animal Hospital is to charge fair fees that ensure accessibility to veterinary care, while also ensuring that we can provide high-quality service and reward our staff for their hard work and dedication.
We follow the fee guidelines set out by the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association. Fees for some of our most common procedures such as exams, spays and neuters are set below the fee guide. If you would like to receive information on our pricing, please contact us at 455-1700 or info@fah.ca
We don’t offer “wellness plans” as we prefer to develop a customized treatment plan for your pet and want to avoid unnecessary procedures.
Not all vaccines are required every year, so we only recommend what is needed at the time. For surgery and other major procedures, you will be presented with a written estimate for your review and approval. We believe that dental examinations are such an important procedure to ensure your pet’s health that we have “capped” our prices for exams – you will pay a fixed price for a general exam and cleaning.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit and cash. Payment is due at the time of service.
Some medical procedures are very costly. For elective procedures such as dentistries, our pre-payment plan is designed to let you save the funds to perform this procedure. Our staff can discuss this option with you.
You can also earn one AIRMILES® reward mile for every $35 spent on any of our products and services.

Pet Insurance
Pet insurance can be used to cover the costs of unexpected procedures or emergencies. Our staff can answer questions about pet insurance or you can contact these providers directly:
Financing
PetCard provides financing, which is a good option for covering costs for emergencies and unexpected surgeries. https://www.petcard.ca
